Tamara works in the Migration Team at the Greater London Authority (GLA), ensuring migrant Londoners are supported to thrive regardless of immigration status. Her areas of key interest are the right to work, statelessness and access to free, reliable immigration advice. She is one of Springboard’s founding members, has a background in Arabic and anthropology and is a strong believer in the transformative power of community. The transition to both a new country and a new school simultaneously is enormous, and she is immensely proud to be involved in Springboard’s radical approach to bridging these gaps for refugee young people.
