MAZIE LYN
CO-VICE CHAIR
Mazie works with the refugee community as an ESOL teacher, and has 15 years of experience teaching English to both youth and adults. She is passionate about giving back to communities, and to that end, has worked with youth in South Africa on a HIV initiative project; helped individuals from all walks of life regain a positive outlook with Christians Against Poverty (CAP); and has also served as a school governor for a primary and a secondary school. She currently co-leads a youth group that helps young people develop character and social skills as they transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Mazie is committed to supporting and providing opportunities that help young people reach their full potential academically and through extra-curricular activities. She joined Springboard as a Trustee to help young people achieve their dreams.
